First floor framing

In just one day it is amazing to see how much the crew was able to accomplish. Essentially the entire first floow is framed. Sherry and I were able to walk through our house for the first time and really see the size and shape of all of the rooms.

Looks as if the concrete and general foundation are now complete! Monday starts the fun part - Framing! We are very excited about seeing the house and all of its rooms start to form over the next couple of weeks.

Concrete is done!

After long wait and a couple small delays, the concrete was poured yesterday. The chain wall for the piers and the garage (including the 3 foot walls) are almost dry. Looks like piers are early next week and then on to framing. Hopefully, the progress will pickup now the the foundation is complete.
